Openreach Network
What is Openreach
Openreach is an independent division of BT group that was established in 2006 and runs the UK’s phone line-based broadband infrastructure. They’re responsible for the copper wires and fibre cables that connect homes and businesses to local exchanges. This means it’s concerned with maintaining and upgrading the local network. Because it serves more than 500 UK ISPs and phone providers, including BT, Sky, TalkTalk, Plusnet and many more, Openreach has a huge influence on the quality of service you get in your home.
